The CMA CGM Group Launches the "She sails" Program to Promote Diversity and Increase Women's Representation on Board Ships

At CMA CGM, we value our employees, and among them, our female seafarers, whom we wish to see in greater numbers.

With this in mind, we have launched the "She Sails" program to make maritime careers more attractive to women.

The program focuses on three main pillars: 

1. Attraction: we offer internships and mentoring programs for female students in maritime education, providing practical experience and career guidance.
2. Promotion: women joining CMA CGM will work on a modern, eco-friendly fleet and have access to stimulating jobs and continuous training, both onshore and onboard.
3. Retention: we encourage women to apply for higher positions, ensure equal growth opportunities and pay, and prioritize crew safety and protection against harassment. Leadership development and management training are also available. 

"She sails" is for all women seafarers, female maritime students, and those pursuing a career driven by adventure, global openness, and passion.
