Today, I maintain a lifelong and unbreakable connection with ships and the sea. I work directly with seafarers, focusing on their training and professional development to help them excel in their roles. Together, we strive to uphold our position as leaders in the maritime industry.
I am grateful to CMA SHIPS Lanka for giving me the opportunity to join a world-leading shipping Group as an intern. It is both challenging and rewarding, the experience of working with colleagues from different cultures has provided me with valuable international exposure. Since 2019, I have been sailing with the CMA CGM Group as a Cadet to Fourth Engineer. To keep our ship running smoothly, engineers are responsible for operating, keeping an eye on and maintaining mechanical systems. Working on the engine is incredibly challenging, but it is made easier by my crewmates’ assistance. I feel happier and more accepted as a member of the CMA CGM Group
