CMA SHIPS Singapore is committed to recruiting seafarers from Singapore and Malaysia, providing round-the-clock support to our crew members.

As a key agency within CMA SHIPS, we share offices with the technical departments responsible for fleet management, dry docks, and retrofit activities. Our focus is on ensuring the safety, continuous training, and well-being of our seafarers.

We also welcome trainees to join our vessels, offering them valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow their careers in the maritime industry.

CMA CGM NOTRE DAME calls in Singapore

The CMA CGM NOTRE DAME marked a symbolic milestone in its maiden voyage with a notable call in Singapore, following the launch of its first commercial rotation from Shanghai.

As the largest liquefied natural gas (LNG)-powered containership flying the French flag, this new-generation vessel has a capacity of 24,212 TEU. It will soon head to Europe before being officially christened in Le Havre on 2 July.

In Singapore, one of the world’s most strategic maritime hubs, the CMA CGM NOTRE DAME illustrated the Group’s ambitions in innovation and energy transition. Powered by LNG, the vessel also integrates advanced digital navigation, artificial intelligence, and energy optimization technologies, designed to improve operational performance while reducing the carbon footprint of maritime transport.

The first in a series of ten vessels of this capacity operated under the French flag, it will operate on the French Asia Line (FAL), connecting Asia with Northern Europe.

This call also highlights the strategic importance of Singapore for CMA CGM, where the Group is strengthening its activities in shipping, logistics, and decarbonization solutions alongside its regional partners.
