Following the visit of Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi and French President to CMA CGM office in Marseille in February 2025, our management made the strategic decision to significantly invest in India.
With the ambitious goal of recruiting 1,000 seafarers at end of 2025 and becoming the first company to reflag existing foreign going vessels under the Indian flag, we took bold steps forward. Thanks to strong leadership and unwavering commitment, this milestone was successfully achieved.
We are now proud to operate as a newly established recruitment and placement service based in Mumbai, India — with a clear mission to support and empower Indian seafarers.
On 2 April 2026, CMA Ships India officially inaugurated its new office in Mumbai, marking an important step in strengthening our maritime operations and fostering closer collaboration across our teams.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the employees, partners and management whose dedication made this achievement possible.
Here's to new opportunities and smooth sailing ahead!
