Cecilia PALEOTTI appointed ambassador for women in maritime by Armateurs de France

With a career shaped by both operational and human-centered experience in the maritime industry, Cécilia began as a Crew Manager before serving for five years as Deputy Fleet Captain for the French fleet, where she oversaw seafarer scheduling and crew organization.

Driven by a strong passion for the maritime world, she later joined the training department, where she has developed initiatives focused on soft skills, leadership, and professional development for French seafarers.

Her appointment as Ambassador recognizes her ongoing commitment to the maritime sector. In this role, she aims to inspire more women to pursue careers in maritime—particularly in onshore roles—and to share her enthusiasm for a demanding, people-driven industry rich in opportunities.
